Sustainability

Lincoln Property Company seeks to enhance the environmental performance of the portfolio it manages for our clients.  We further aim to support our clients in the implementation of their corporate social responsibility/sustainability objectives through environmentally-conscious approaches to building operations and maintenance.

Lincoln Property Company has developed a set of "green practice policies" which emphasize energy and water efficiency and sustainable approaches to pest management, construction, purchasing, cleaning, solid waste management, site management, and control environmental tobacco smoke. These policies have been developed within the context of industry best practices and utilizing the USGBC LEED for Existing Building as a framework.

These policies have been incorporated into our Lincoln Property Company Facility and Property Management Operations Manual and are adopted as standard practice.

LEED Certification

In 2016, Oyster Point Marina Plaza earned and was awarded the 5-year certification of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) PLATINUM-EB (Existing Buildings) by the U.S.G.B.C. (United States Green Building Council). As part of our efforts to attain this prestigious recognition, it is important that our Tenants understand and participate in energy conservation, recycling, and alternate forms of transportation, which can have a significant impact on the total energy usage each year as well as the opportunity to reduce our carbon footprint.
