Move-In / Move-Out / Large 'Bulky' Deliveries
Building Rules and Regulations specify the l movement or delivery, whether in or out of the building, of large ("bulky) items are to be approved and scheduled before 8:00 AM or after 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, before 9:00 AM after 1:00 PM on Saturdays, or any time on Sundays. Tenants may arrange in advance for the removal of equipment, furniture, files (in volume), and/or business machines from the building suites. Please contact the management office at (650) 873-1054 to make the necessary arrangements and approvals. All deliveries are limited to the freight elevator of each building, no exceptions unless previously approved by building management. At no time should elevator doors ever be blocked open, as this can damage the equipment and affect operation.
For delivery activity before or after hours, Tenants are asked to contact the Management Office to schedule accordingly, as well as submit, at least five (5) days in advance of the intended date, a completed AFTER-HOURS ACCESS AUTHORIZATION FORM. This will ensure time to complete arrangements for proper: (i) scheduling and reserving of the building's freight elevator and Delivery Entrance; and; (ii) review and approval of the associated Tenant contracted Moving or Delivery Company, which includes compliance with all building requirements for Commercial General Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation.
All contracted service providers and moving companies are required to comply, in advance, with Oyster Point Marina Plaza's please refer to VENDOR INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS. Kashiwa Fudosan America, Inc., Cushman & Wakefield of California, Inc., and their subsidiaries are to be named as Additional Insured and as Certificate Holder.
Service providers/moving companies are also to be informed that no trucks should exceed twelve feet six inches (12'6") in height or thirty-two feet (32') in length, as they will have difficulty negotiating the turns and Delivery location within the parking lot, without causing property damage. Note, there is not capacity nor ability to receive pallets, pallet-jacks, or any item that would be delivered other than at grade level and thusly are strictly prohibited.
Tenants are also to provide their service provider/moving company of the dimensions of the freight elevator in each building:
- 395 Oyster Point Boulevard:
- height is 88" floor to grid & 13½" grid to ceiling;
- length/depth is 101½" long; and (iii) width is 65" wide.
- 400 Oyster Point Boulevard:
- height is 89¼" floor to grid & 6" grid to ceiling;
- length/depth is 102¾" long; and (iii) width is 66" wide.
Any accumulation of trash or debris, resulting from a move, should be arranged with your moving company for proper off-site disposal. Any remaining empty boxes (broken down flat) can be recycled or trash can be removed and disposed of by the janitorial service. Please clearly label "TRASH / BASURA" on all packing materials and refuse and place in a conspicuous place for night pick up.
